A day in the park
Yesterday Chad and I met my brother, Nick, and our nephew, Will, at Holiday World. What a great day! It was so much fun to see the excitement pouring out of Will. He was amazed! I can remember going there with the Hagemeier clan when I was younger and having so much fun. I am glad that the tradition can continue. Although, Will decided next year it would be nice to have everyone come.....I think he is right! I love seeing my brother be a parent...he is such a loving father to all three of the kids. I mean, he drove 450 miles round trip to spend the day with Will and us. The memories that we made yesterday are priceless. It was sunny, it was hot, and we were exhausted at the end of the day....but exhausted in a good way! Just look below....

I LOVE me some Etsy!
Ok, I will admit it.....I am [addicted] to etsy. I check it everyday and seem to buy from there every other day. I like to call it ebay for crafters (except you don't have to bid on things). Here are some of my favorite things. I do apologize in advance....I am not Oprah and will not be giving away my favorite things! =) Enjoy!

Sticker Shock
So, I go to the Pharmacy at the hospital today on my break to pick up my Lovenox injections (blood thinner). I get up to the window, give my name, and the pharmacy tech comes back with a big paper bag.....she looks frightened. She says, "Ummmm, are you supposed to pay for this today because it says you owe 3,629 dollars." WOAH!! That is just for one month! I guess I should take back what I said in my previous post about having bad insurance, because they are paying for [most] of it. Now, I'm off to become a pin cushion! Happy Monday!

Here we go!

Hi Everyone! Thanks for visiting our blog. This blog was set up to take you on our fertility journey with us [as well as other life adventures]. I thought it would be nice to have [some] fun along the way to keep me sane! Here is a little about us. Chad and I met in 2002 and have been married [almost] 5 years. I'm a nurse and he is a marketing guy. We love our family and friends, our bulldog Mack, the Cubs, and traveling.
